You Gotta Love'em | Charity Shops

Recently I was inspired by Love Your Clothes UK, how charity shops have not only been my main source to my wardrobe but also how this beautiful planet can benefit from your donations.

I'm not ashamed to say it, charity shops have been my main source to my wardrobe for years and also provided much needed last minute costumes on productions. Even as emergency clothing when I brought the wrong coat with me in the middle of winter (let's just say a felt coat and minus temperatures is not a good mix! Whoops!).

You can purchase some pretty cool stuff from charity shops."What...a toby jug?" Bit more then a Toby Jug, but hey Toby Jugs are also pretty cool. In recent years I've purchased rare vinyl's - (David Bowie, Queen, Pink Floyd ect), brand new Doc Martens, ASOS clothing, Ted Baker perfume and it doesn't stop there!

Coast to Coast: Haul | Part 1

Now, travelling is never complete until you've bought some bits and bobs. I heartily refuse to leave any town I've visited empty handed. Due to travelling on three trains, I was limited to how much I could get and size ect. I've purchased items I plan to do short yet sweet reviews in the coming weeks on the named products (exciting)! And these are what I purchased:
HOMEBIRD HOUSE - #1
Whilst in Scarborough, I came across a sweet shop called 'Homebird House' - I've previously visited them and been in complete amazement of what they offer - beautiful pieces of homewares, gifts, cards, lights and so much more!

The attention to detail is beautiful and the staff are super friendly! Everywhere you look there is always something different and new - I remember last year regretting not purchasing certain items such as the adorable necklaces, or the scarfs.

Lace Market Theatre Season Artist! | July 2017

This is a bit exciting, recently I completed my first published commission for the Lace Market Theatre.

Previously I have been an illustrator for a book called 'The Boy Nextdoor' and a freelance editor/illustrator for a an East Midlands magazine (which home educators will be probably be familiar with) called 'The Monthly Mail'.

I've uploaded five of my favourite pieces which didn't make it in the brochure (Flare Path technically didn't make it due to having my paper cut design replaced with a second imagery) - let me know in the comments which one you like!
